My baby boy was born 1.1kg at 27 weeks. He was so small and I think it is taking time for him to put weight. He is still on formula and he is eating just everything in fornt of him. He is active, he is now 15 months old, he is walking, talking baby language and naughty. He now weighs 10 kg. Is it the right weight for his age bearing in mind that he was only 1.1 on birth.

Kindly advise.

Dear Mbali

He can weight a bit more, but remember that he is active now and that takes up a lot of "growing weight". If he is healthy, then you should not worry. If he becomes ill very often, it is a good idea to have his diet checked by a peadiatric dietician.
