Swollen kidneys
I suffer from swollen kidneys, feet and face. I had a kidneystone about a year ago, my gp said I suffer from nepritus. What does that mean and what else can I do. They have done test but could not find anything wrong about two years ago. I also get spasms in my kidneys but I do not have any problems with bladder infections.

Dear Kidneys

Nephritis means inflammation of the kidneys. There are many causes, mainly infective and immunological (ie it is a HUGE subject. There is not enough information to make an accurate assessment. Some forms of nephritis affect kidney function. Please see your GP with a view for referral to a specialist.
