toe nails please help
hi on my second toe on both feet my nails grow to a piont and i dont mean in the direction that they grow but up. ok they grow in the normal direction but the longer they get they come to a piont. my mom also has it and hers got to a piont where the nail actually grew closed around the skin under the nail. its not ingrown nails and its like the skin under them is iether very thick or the nail is too thick. apparently my gran had the same problem i dont know if this makes any sence to you but a bit of help or explination would help please.
I am not quite sure I understand exactly what you are trying to say , but it sounds as if you have a pincer or involuted nail. The fact that Gran mom and you all have the same thing explains that it is a genetically inherited problem and you cannot change what you have. To get mor specific advice please go to a podiatrist for some advice and or treatment
