Wrist Pain 2
Hi Dr P
I'll try to answer your questions as clear as possible. I'm not sure about the sound that the wrist make, but it sound like a snapping sound. I don't get tigling feeling in my hands, but my fingers (especially my pinkies) starts to hurt. About the bumps and lumps, there is none. I don't know if it's normal, but there is like a hole where the pain is. There is no bone.
Hope it is clear enough. I'm very nervous about doctors, that is why I hope you can give me some advice for self treatment.
Thank you very much for your time

Hi ys
The interesting point is that when not moving the wrists (ie In a fixed position such as push ups), there is no pain. It indicates that there is possibly a ligamentous, tendinous type problem or synovitis( ie unlikely to be fractures). It may be inflammatory in origin so a short course of anti inflammatories may help along with not aggravating the area. Ideally immobilisation with splints would be helpful, especially at night.
if these don't help an a diagnostic/therapeutic cortisone /local anaesthetic injection may help.
Good luck
