muscle gain
I am trying to loose some weight, I'm not overweight or anything, I've started using some weights at the gym, 2and half to be exact and I've noticed that my biceps have developed quete well and I do look good, but the problem is that I've gained 3kgs is it muscle gain or weight gain cos I am following a very strict diet of protein and veggies, less carbs.

I would not worry if I was you-the weight gain that you have encountered is in all possibility muscle weight that you have picked up. In the beginning what you want is primarily "weight" gain anyway. You can worry about muscle vs. fat ratio when you start "cutting" to start looking good.

Also, if you're eating as strictly as you state you are then the weight you are gaining is good weight mostly in the form of muscle. Keep an eye on yourself in the mirror-the primary measurement of progress is how you look in the mirror. If you can still see your sixpack etc. then you're fine!!
