LUMP ON SPINE MIDWAY DOWN BACK
HI, PLEASE CAN YOU ADVISE! ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO THE PERSON THAT WAS DOING MY BACK MASSAGE NOTICED A LUMP HALFWAY DOWN MY SPINE DIRECTLY ON MY SPINE. I NOW USE A DIFFERENT PERSON WHO ALSO ABOUT A YEAR AGO MENTIONED THIS AS WELL. YESTERDAY I HAD ANOTHER MASSAGE AND SHE ASKED ME TO PLEASE HAVE IT LOOKED AT AS IT APPEARS TO HAVE GOTTEN BIGGER. IT IS THE SIZE OF A R5 COIN AND I CAN NOW FEEL IT, AS BEFORE I COULDN'T? SHOULD I BE CONCERNED. IN 2004 I STARTED EXPERIENCING NUMBNESS TINGLING AND OCCASIONAL WEAKNESS IN BOTH MY FEET, ARMS AND LEGS AND HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR EVERYTHING FROM MS TO ANXIETY???? ANY SUGGESTIONS - COULD THIS BE RELATED? IS IT WORHT SEEING MY DOCTOR? THANK YOU!
A visit to your family doctor is definitely indicated. This may be quite an innocent "lump" - but considering some of the symptoms you describe I do believe it would be advisable to consult your doctor soon as possible.
