Abdominal pain
Hi Doc
Me again. I wrote to you about the rectal polyps that were removed and the surgeon :)
Anyways, I have some pain in my lower abdomen, more to the bladder area. It does sting/burn a bit sometimes (sometimes some pain in the testicles too). Went to my GP and he tested urine and said everything seems fine...no infection. He said this could be a spastic colon and gave me Bevispas to use. Thing is, this pain has been here for almost 7-10 days already and doesn't feel like spastic colon to me (the bevispas is not really helping). Could it be inflammation of the bladder/prostate? This would be the third time I go to the doc for pain in the abdomen. My colonoscopy is only on 24/01. Must I mention this to the surgeon when he does the colonoscopy?

Dear Keen,
Yes do mention it. It won't be bladder or prostate infection - would have shown in the urine.
