alternative for contison
hi doc. i have some burns from shampoo used for fungus on my skin. however i do not want to use a cortisone like stopitch because i used it a while ago for an allergy. what other products can i get for this burns? and how does other products differ from cortisone like stopitch? (is a cortisone better or more effective). will BC 56 work? thanks
Hi Don,
Fungal shampoo won't "burn" your skin but can cause a dermatitis or inflammation in the skin if you are allergic to it. A cortisone cream is the preferred treatment and stopitch is a very low dose, so you can use it again.
