Blood vomiting
My son had two fits recently in the night and I took him to hospital. They did a cadscan and it show negative.(But I must say they give me a date only two weeks after the fits) then the doctor said their is nothing wrong but when he had the fits,he lost conciousness. She gave him a letter that said he must not go underground unless the EEG is done which is only the 5th of September. Now he is starting to vomit blood during the night. What am I to do?

Dear AE

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

It is very important for him to have an EEG done, to exclude epilepsy, as a cause for his fits. The vomiting of blood, is most likely unrelated to his fits. I recommend that he consults a Surgeon, for a gastroscopy, as well as a barium meal, to establish the cause for vomitting blood.

Kind regards
