constant diorehia
I have had a constant runny stomache and vomiting for 5 weeks, my dr did tests which did not show infection, the moment i eat something i have an upset stomache. I have myasthenia Gravis and rhumatroid arthritis and my neurologist has told my gp that i must go for glucose tolerance testing as he thinks i might have diabetes, can this be the case? I really could not handle another illness to contend with, if not diabetes then what do you think could be the problem, i had to have an emergency gall bladder removed around 7 - 8 weeks ago could this have contributed to my existing problem, i am deseprate for this to stop as i cannot keep food down. I also have extreme pain in my lower back when i have a loose movement and my dr told me that my colon area was tender to the touch, please help as i cant take this anymore.

Dear Tracey
You can do a screening test with fasting glucose for diabetes ( glucose tolerance testing involves drinking a lot of sweet gooey stuff which I don't think you will be able to handle just now!) I don't know why your doctor thinks there may be a risk of diabetes but testing is the only way to find out!
What medications are you taking at the moment for the RA and MG? You may have an inflamed colon either as complication of the RA or due to medication you are taking for the RA?
