Cough - Had TB 6 years ago
Hi Doc,

Just a question on coughing. I was diagnosed with TB about 6 years ago and underwent treatment and recovered fully. About 2 weeks ago I started a bad cough again for no reason at all. I did not have any cold/flu symptoms. It is a flemmy cough(thick). Should I have my chest checked out again or should I first try to get rid of the cough with medication?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Just wondering, chances are that it is just the flu, but if it doesn’t clear up within a week or so, the best would be to have a chest x-ray taken just to make sure. Good luck.
