Do FRECKLES ever turn cancerous?
I have heard of MOLES turning cancerous, but do FRECKLES ever turn cancerous ?

I have a FRECKLE on my back which seems a bit raised and the texture has changed. It feels rough under my finger whereas, in the past, it always felt smooth.

I have heard that sudden skin changes are common in peri-menopausal women (in their early forties) like me.

Dear Mayoree,
Freckles do not normally change in to cancer but the freckle could have developed into a lesion that is non-cancerous but ugly and itchy. It can be freezed off. Please let your dr have a look at it?
