Fibre intake in little ones
My daughter aged 5 is very regular as far as a number 2 goes - at least once a day if not twice, however she really struggles to eat her veggies at night - I really try, but she almost gags it up - really worries me that she is not getting all the fibre and vitamins she needs. I am told that at school she eats them all up and is a very good eater. Would she not be as regular if her fibre and vitamin intake was not sufficient? Should I even be concerned?
Hi Nic,
If she eats enough fruit, stop worrying. Give her a good kiddies multivit and just give her a good variety of fruits and see if you can identify one green vege that she can cope with - even by mashing it and disguising it in pies/frikkadels etc.
