Floating stools
I have had stools that float for years, and not periodically, bu always!

What is the cause of this? What does this mean? Is it diet? If so what do I lack or have to much of in my body? WHat food will make my stools normal?

I' m concerned that there is something wrong with me?

Dear Mary-Jo
Stools may float due to high gas content - this can happen due to fermentation by bacteria in the bowel, sometimes because of malabsorbtion or a fast transit through the bowel. If you don't lose weight and have no other bowel symptoms like diarrhoea, abdominal pain, or foul smelling windiness, it probably is nothing to worry about.
