GROMMITS
My son had grommits inserted in Nov 02, please advise when they should come out ( I have received various reports from a few months to 18 months). He is 5 years old and wants to swim etc and we are not sure if he can submerge his ears at this stage.

Regards

Dave, grommets usually fall out by themselves after 6-12 months, but I suppose you can have them removed by the time spring comes and he wants to start swimming again. Hopefully they will have come out by themselves by then. Good luck.
