A heart rate can be determined by feeling a pulse at the radial aspect of the inside of the wrist, the side of the neck (corotic artery), as well as feeling the pulse at the inside of the groin. You can also determine heart rate by listening to the amount of heart beats, with the use of stethoscope. It can also be determined by a cardiac monitor.
