heart surgery and alcohol
hi there,
i had heart surgery 6 weeks ago and i was just wondering if drinking alcohol will cause any complications or will have a negative effect on my heart? please help, i tried the heartdoc but her page isn't running at the moment. by drinking i mean about 4 smirnoff spins in a night or a few shots... how much is okay to drink at this stage? please let me know doc! many thanks

I suggest that you refrain from taking any alcohol at this stage but if you have to, a glass of red wine at night is all that you can take.
