Help - Pregnant
I did preg test last night and got the two stripes, unplanned pregnancy but needless to say not unwanted.
I am just so afraid, I have been through so much in the past two months I don’t know what the chances of everything being ok are.
I was on anti-biotics 4 times from June till mid August. I have been really ill, with pneumonia. Then a week ago I was involved in a serious car accident, a truck drove over my car. Luckily I survived, just with complications with my lower back. After the accident I had a voltarin injection, and have been on pain killers and muscle relaxers till yesterday when I realised I might be pregnant.i also have had xrays taken. I am only a week late and I thought that this was because of stress of the car accident. what is your opinion?

Dear Ang
Although it is better not to take all kinds of medicine when you are pregnant it sometimes is inevitable. I would suggest you make a list of all the medication you took and the number of x/rays, and discuss it with your gyne - you also need a sonar to determine how far your pregnancy is.
Only when you have all this info, can you and your gyne together decide what the risk to the baby would be and what your options are.
Please let me know what he says?
