HIV & Cholesterol
Is there any relationship between HIV & Cholesterol? I have been diagnosed with unusually high cholesterol though I am not fat and I do regular exercise.

Dear Vick
HIV does not cause high cholesterol, but some of the HIV medications like the protease inhibitors can increase cholesterol levels. Some people also just have inherited high cholesterol even though they are eating normal and they are not overweight.
