kidneys not functioning properly ??
Hi Doc
Have not been feeling well with constant headache, swelling of ankles and feet , tiredness and not sleeping for two weeks now.
Was at the doc on Monday she said kidneys not functiioning properly did blood tests full blood count , sugar and thyroid which we waiting for results.
she gave me medication in the form of one pill in the morning "puresis 40mg " which she said would flush kidneys.
I am feeling terrible headache and back pain coming down my legs at the back , nauseous and tired but can't sleep due to the painand it seems i am starting to yellow in the skin and eyes.
Can't get hold of her she's not available till friday should i go somewhere else ???

YES please do go to someone else tomorrow - there is maybe something wrong with your liver too - see another available doctor. Don't let them do the bloods over - just ask the lab to send a copy of the current tests to this doctor too. He may however need to take a liverfunction test and also test for hepatitis additionally.
