late period
I am a 17 yr old girl and my period was supposed to start somwhere around the 30 of sept or 1 of Oct. I have never really been regular. so i am basically about 8 days late. I have never had sex. My mom says it could be due to stress because exams are coming up soon and i was also involved in a car accident last month. Im fine but it was a very traumatic experience for me. So do u think this may be a cause - stress? the past 2 days or so i have been having basic pms symptoms like bloatedness and cramps now and then. Is the cause of this from the stress perhaps?

Dear Stressed
Yes it could be due to stress. If you have no reason to think that you are pregnant - relax, as skipping a period is not dangerous or bad for you and you will just have a slightly heavier flow next time.
