Lump on skull
I have a lump on the side of my head behind my temple, and it can't move around at all. it feels as if it it part of my skull, and sometimes I feel pressure at that side of my head, not pain. If I press hard on it and then hard on another part of my head, it definately feels more sensitive, but it doesn't hurt.
I went to a general surgeon and he said that I must have fallen on my head when I was little and have only noticed it now. I am pretty sure it was'nt there before. I am 33, and otherwise fit and healthy. Should I get a second opinion or am I being paranoid?

Jj, I can’t really say what it is without examining you first, but I have to say that an immovable hard lump is always more likely to be something serious that a moveable soft one. I suppose it won’t do harm to have an x-ray taken and maybe to get a second opinion. Good luck.
