no meds
is it bad to NOT take pain medication even though one is in serious pain? i heard that by doing this it builds up the pain thresh-hold and then when there is something wrong and the body is trying to say this with pain the person might not know? I know about rebound/phantom pains by OVER medicating but under medictating?

Jo, you can choose to ignore a pain because you have gotten used to it, but you will still feel it. Taking pain killers may mask a pain due to something serious, so most of the time not taking something is safer than taking something when it is not necessary. Good luck.
