Ongoing upper back pain
I have had searing pain and muscle cramps between my shoulder blades for about six weeks. A doctor diagnosed muscle strain, probably from too much computer work. I have had several physio sessions, and do stretching exercises fairly regularly while at work. But while the pain seemed to get better for a while, it is now worse again. Might the problem be somethign else, or is there something I'm doing wrong in trying to address this problem?

Dear Julia

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

Unfortunately, your symptoms seems work related. What you are currently doing is correct but try changing your seating, as well as your work station, to be more ergonomic and less stressful on your neck and back muscles. To eleviate the pain and cramps, try Robaxan 750mg, thrice daily. This can be bought over the counter.

Kind regards
