Navin, pectus excavatum means funnel chest i.e. it’s an abnormal form of the chest due to the breastbone being situated “deeper” into the chest than normal. You can have an x-ray taken to confirm the diagnosis and if it is a young child, an MRI to make sure that the internal organs have developed normally. Good luck.
