Hi Doc,
My last period was on 17 Feb and again on 30 March. Is this normal? We have been trying to conceive for the past 20 months. I have never been on the pill before. Is this irregular period causing me not falling pregnant? I was at my gynae about 6 months ago and everything was OK.
- I have been on gynea doc's site but no reply as yet, hope you can help me somehow.
Thanking you in advance.

Swvee, having a period every 6 weeks is definitely not normal. Did you tell your gynae about this when you visited him? It sounds like there might be something affection your hormone levels like a thyroid problem, etc. The best would to see your GP and have him do the basic screening tests for irregular menses. If everything turns out normal, the best would be to contact a gynae again, because it might keep you from falling pregnant if it isn’t sorted out. Good luck.
