persistant cough
i have had a cough now for months that i just cant get rid of. I do smoke but usually not more than 10 a day. its at the point where i have to clear my throat b4 i speak and ppl r starting to think im nervous or something. I saw my doctor and he gave me an asthma pump to use for a few days to see if it helps, as i also wheeze a little.

I did a medical for my work and they did one of those lung test things where u blow into the thing and the graph goes up .. they made me do it 3 times because i couldnt get it to go very high at all, infact it only went up like an inch, they made a joke about having small lungs.

what could be causing this?

GSOI, from this side of the screen it sounds like the smoking is affecting your lungs. The best would be to stop smoking before it is too late. Seeing a specialist physician also won’t do any harm. Good luck.
