Removed growth
HI Doc
About 10 years I had a small growth removed in my thigh (looked like a purple mole) but test said it was fine just a growth. The stiches came apart and was restitced. I can't remember what the docter called it but after it healed the area that looks plastic and scared-about 1 cm (the same as where other moles was removed) but this one sometimes form a blood blister under the skin. This comes and goes. Occasionaly the whole area around it on my leg hurt. Both my GP and dermotoligist says it's fine I shoulnd't worry about it. But the 'scared' area got bigger this year, the blood under the skin is back and a new little area looks like a normal blister effect. Shurely this is not good? I just want to know is this kind of thing really is not dangerous. Can it causes blood clots etc? The only way to fix it is in hospital and I don't want to go that root if it is not dangerous. Thanks

Hi Lee,
I think you must get a second opinion. You can sometimes develop a melanoma ( skin cancer ) in old lesions. Rather be safe than sorry.
