Severe Headaches
I had a Hysterectomy 1year ago and since then once a month or sometimes every 2nd week, I get these severe headaches. It's either in the centre of my forehead or the side. When the headache starts, I am unable to eat, drink or do anything. No matter what pain killers I take, it does not help. The headaches normally lasts the whole day. Doc, do you have any advise for me?

Mirna, it’s difficult to say what type of headache you have without examining you first. Maybe the best would be for you to mail me at CyberDoc@mweb.co.za so that I can send you a copy of something I wrote on the most common types of headache. Read it and see if you can work out what the problem is. Please let me know if you have more questions. Good luck.
PS. Please post your reply as a new question and not below my reply because I won’t get your reply if you do.
