Sistemic candida
Dear Doc-

I am a 45-year-old female and was diagnosed with systemic Candida about 3 years ago. As I cannot afford antibiotic treatment (long term), I have been trying to regain my health my making drastic changes to my diet and taking specific supplements. I feel constantly deprived and my health has only improved marginally. Is there a more aggressive treatment plan I can opt for, without incurring so much costs? What is the average time it takes for one to recover from Systemic Candida?

Kitty, systemic Candida is a very serious disorder and usually only affects immune compromised people. It is potentially fatal and should definitely be treated without delay. Please mail me at CyberDoc@mweb.co.za, so that I can send you something on systemic Candidiasis. Read it and let me know whether this is what you’re suffering from (as a new question please). Good luck.
