Surcigal clips
Had galbladder removed about 2 years ago, went for ulta sound on Thursday, comment on report was that visible surcigal clips seen. Is this normal, went for ultra sound as I seem to develop a hernia at belly buttom where one on the cuts were, sometimes very painful but when I lie down pain subsides, no evidence of hernia was found

Dear Merina
When a laparoscopic cholesystectomy is done clips are used to tie off the arteries etc. so may be normal. You may have some scar tissue at the cut that causes the pain.
