weight loss resistance
I seem to have become very prone to weight gain on my stomach and resistant to weight loss by sensible dieting. I also lack energy in the extreme and my muscles seem weaker. I also suffer from a "fuzzy" feeling in my head at times as if I can't think straight. My attention span when in a conversation is also slipping. Are these all related? What is the cause? I am very concerned about the weight gain as I fear for my health.

Dear Phyllis
This can be due to hormonal disfunction - please ask your GP to check your TSH, FSH and Insulin levels?
