White bump on tongue
There is a raised white spot on the tip of my tongue. My Dr says that it is an elnarged papilla and he cauterised it but it keeps coming back (5 times in more than a year). Sometimes it pains a little but he says there is nothin to worry about? Is this true and what is it??

LeeLee, i doubt that it is something serious if it comes and goes. It might be due to an irritated gland or papilla and then it should go away without any treatment. Using a mouth wash like Andolex C® won’t do any harm either. If it doesn’t clear up or becomes bigger the best would be to see a surgeon and have it removed. Good luck.
