Angry Friend

I have a friend, my best friend actually. Amazing guy. I have the worlds respect for him. Went through a lot in his life. Without going into to much detail his parents and his ex wife really messed him up. To the stage where he is always angry. He always fights with everyone around him. His kids his new wife. Not me though. Dont know if its for any other reason then because I am his boss aswell or if he sees me as a good friend to. No matter the reason. Now he is a typical afrikaans man. Wont talk about feelings much but I know he is frustrated with his life and angry at lots of people. Once again because he has been misstreated so often. Personaly I think he is angry just because it hurts less to be sad or depressed. How can I help him?
