A word or 2?
Hi CS,

I know that this is not a chat site, and I really hope you will not think I am wasting your time or intruding personally, but I have a bizarre request for you if you please ....

Please could you recommend a book that is perhaps one of your favourites or that you find very interesting? (I ask becuase as part of my new 'me time' programme I have made up my mind to ask people I find interesting/inspiring to recommend a book that has enriched them). So far I have had read 3 very interesting books that I would normally never have attempted to pick up, let alone read!

Many Thanks and have a nice day ;-)

P.S - if you are going to recommend one, it does not matter about genre of book - that is part of the whole idea, for me to go on intellectual journeys that I would never usually attempt!

Hmmm. Let me think about this one. Some that come to mind would be : THe Book : On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are, by Alan Watts ; A Grief Observed, by C.S. Lewis ; and I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, by Hannah Green
