bipolar treatment
i was diagnosed with bipolar 3 years ago and have been treated effectively with epilim 60mg a day and 40mg of cilift. is it possible one's body can get used to the same medication and i sometimes feel it is not as effective as it used to be.
Its not so much usual that medication becomes less effective as such, as that Bipolar Disorder can change, and treatment may accordingly need to evolve. If you feel some diminishing of benefits from the treatment, the wise thing to do would be to see your shrink for a re-assessment of the situation, and a discussion of possible revision of your medication
