Borderline Personality Disorder
My 29 year old daughter has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. She has just been in Valkenberg Psyciatric clinic for the past 6 weeks. We are finding it very difficult to find books on the subject. Does anyone know where we can find books that will help her to find techniques to deal with this disorder. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its a very complicated diagnosis, not yet much recognized or studied in SA, though much studied and dealt with in the USA. Most of the books on the subject are deeply technical, frankly boring, and hard even for professorial shrinks to follow. I like the suggestions of the other readers. I've heard of Walking on Eggshells, and jcat's two suggestions sound good too. Generally, I find it useful to check out books, ( indeed CDs and DVDs too ) on Amazon.com, as they include useful reviews including multiple reviews from others who have bopught and read the book. Then I'd check prices on Exclusivebooks.com and kalahari.net, and order from whichever has the best price.
