Boredom = Hell

I am soo unhappy in my job. I feel like I've been in this job for way too long & I 'm finding it hard to cope. My concentration levels are down & I want so much more out of life. My dream job is fashion retail buying but all the courses offered are full time. I can't afford to take off from work cause thats whats gonna pay for studies in the first place. What do I do???? I put my cv out but then I'm not black enough for jobs that appeal to me. I am really good in Finance but I don't enjoy it at all. Please help

There seems to be quite a lot of this about ! It seems foolish of the training institutions to make such courses full-time, when surely a majority of those who might want to take such courses, would need them part-time. If they can ignore so much of their own potential market, maybe they don't know enough about marketing ! Is there any change of job enrichment where you are ? Could HR maybe advise on whether you could get further training in-house or with company support, for promition, advancement, even a side-ways move into a different part of this company's operations, that you might find more interesting ?
