Caffien Trip
I have recently been diagnosed with severe stress and related anxiety. My Psycologist has prescribed a course of Aropax and pyscotherapy. I have to coffee in the morning, but i find that some days i tend to have severe anxiety when hi have more than one cup. Why does the caffien have such an effect on my anxiety. What natural substance can be used to restore the serotonin levels in the brain?

Hi Googly,
Caffeine makes many people feel more nervous or edgy -- it is a stimulant, whether taken in coffee, cola, or "energy drinks". It has no beneficial effects on one's brain serotonin levels. While your other treatments, medicine and psychoptherapy, are under way, experiment with your drinks -- try some of the range of herbal teas or tisanes, which are non-stimulant. ( ordinary black tea is stimulant, though usually more gently than coffee )
The Aropax ought to be doing quite enough for your brain serotonin, so there's no need to add any other produect, natural or unnatural, for that purpose.
