Dear Cybershrink
My husband is driving me crazy. I can't go on - it is too much. The shrink is away and his substitute said I should wait until he is back - wait for what anyway? I can't I can't - not anymore!!!!!

Dear png,
how awful. Substitutes often feel nervous when there seems to be a crisis in a complex situation which the absent shrink presumably knows about and can handle, and they're not sure what to do. But a shrink who goes away for such a length of time, is supposed to make sure his substitute has access to his patient records and is agreed to handle such rises. Maybe the best bet now is to see another local shrink, and ask him/her to assess the situation afresh. Maybe they'll even turn out to be better than your original, and with less ambitious travel plans !
Don't be driven crazy, and DO go on --- don't let this defeat you.
