Interesting spin on the VET issues, I did start young on the "violence" & have found myself in some hairy situs LRRP'D soweto & Katlehong...a few more heart-stopping building penetrations, frustration in the infantry. Missed out on going to the legion & now have a mundane lifestyle with no adrenalin (other than being in Gauteng traffic most evry day).

Life is getting boringly boring. Life on the edge was so NOW. 1 slip & twas finnished. SHeesh, I seem to have become paranoid, O wait, I always have been, lol.

Ps WZ Some of us still post, some monitor while others have moved on (hopefully to escape their past or confront it- whichever rocks their socks)

It sems to be rather as if some form of thermostat had been reset at too high a level. So rewarding ways of life life can seem boring. And paranoia --- in some ways maybe some people find it preferable to loneliness, and the uglier truth that most people in the world couldn't care less about us.
