Forum questions
I know i am gonna get postive and negative response but i am ready for it.

I know people have a freedom of choice in asking questions to different forum doctors. There is one question that i always fail to understand why people ask it. Its popular in the sexologist and gynae doc. "Am i pregnant" how on earth will the doc know if you are pregnanct or not when s/he did not examine you? Can't people use their common sense and wait until they miss a period then take a pregnancy test or go have a blood test if they suspect they are pregnant? Things like sore breasts, i feel tired etc don't always relate to being pregnant.

OKay, you can shoot now.

That's a good example, but there are others --- some people post a question wanting a good answer ; others post a question because they want you to agree with them, or tell them what they want to hear, whatever the truth might be. And these are possibly wanting to get an excuse not to be checked out properly, and to be able to pretend that everything's fine.
kat makes the excellent observation that in relation to this and other problems, some people seem to think magically, as if buying a pegnancy test will make them pregnant, as if getting that lump checked up on will turn it into cancer, and so on.
I'll have to find a way of trade-marking Cybershrink !
