Have you ever?
Left a job after trying your best to get things to go right and then deciding there must be a reason the others before me only lasted a couple of months, at least I tried for 7 months just to see that nothing will ever come right?

I resigned this morning after I had just had enough! I write memo's saying where the problem is but at the end of the day they just want the results and how you get there is your problem.

He's so shocked that I am prepared to leave although I don't have another job. I said just get someone else and I'll train them and look for another job.

At least you gave them useful feedback about the problems as you see them, whether or not they're able to absorb and use that advice
