Dear Jen,
Why not settle the arguments, by seeing a good shrink for a proper assessment ? If he agrees with you, you'll have a good reason to silence your critics and naggers. If by chance you're mistaken, then he can advise you on how to modify this healthily.
If you are within the normal range of weights for your age, and height, and are simply cautious about maintaining a normal weight ( and perhaps your own normal weight is a bit thinner than some folks ) and if you are eating a nornmal amount and a healthy range of foods, that's fine. But what is making everyone think that you do have an eating disorder ? If you weight yourself frequently, wear clothes to disguise how think you are, if your periods have stopped, if you vomit or pruge yourself to lose weight, then you probably o have an eating disorder needing treatment.
