I phoned her!
she confirmed that they were only sms'ing about once every 2 months, and that they hadn't seen each other in person since 1998. apparently they shared sexual fantasies (not about each other) when they were sms'ing 2.5 years ago. she agreed not to contact my husband anymore. now its just hoping and praying that our relationship can be saved. its not so much about the lieing, rather the way my husband reacted when I confronted him. It seemed as though a demon possessed him - I didn't know who he was. I am still in a state of shock.

Well, he was probably surprized, embarrassed, and didn't know what to say. Nobody much enjoys being in that position LEts hope things work out well for you now --- how about marriage counselling ? I emphasize that because if a couple who ought to be able to make it, just can't quite sort everything out entirely on their own, getting some expert help makes sense --- just as you would if the TV, washingmachine or can went on the blink
