is there a long term injection antidepressant?
My husband forgets to take his Talomil most days so it's obviouly not working. Is there such a thing as an antidepressant injection which could last for a few months (like the 3 months contraceptive?).

Funny you should say that, Jane, as for decades I have been trying to encourage the drug companies to consider producing a long-acting injectable antidepressant, but nobody has taken up the challenge. There have been experiments with medicine bottles with alarms you can set to remind someone that tablets need taking -- but generally one faslls back on relying on a reliable spouse to remind the person. Have you discussed with him whether this is true forgetfulness, or if perhaps he just doesn't, in his depressed state of mind, expect anything to work, and doesn't think it's worth bothering ?
