Is tht abuse...?
Hi cybershrink
I am 25 been in a relationship with this guy for 2yrs now...we live together & i used to feel tht things were too good to be true...
A month ago i tried to kill myself cos I felt so lost after my huge fight wit my bf...since then things were ok until this evening...we very rarely fight & when we do its always about gambling...he has a temper like no other...my niece who is 3 was visiting & we faught infront of her..he slapped me several times & the child began to cry... I left home & cam to stay with my parents...
I have come out of an abusive relationship a while ago & not sure if slapping some one is abuse...
I am deeply hurt & very depressed cos I really love hi & love our life together...its only when he looses money he becomes a different person....
help pls doc....

It is abuse. But the real issue is what is to be done about this --- sounds like maybe he cares but doesn't know how to handle you in such situatons ? IF you really want this elationship to continue, wHy not get you both involved in relationship counselling, to explore and sort out these issues, and try to prevent further problems of this sort ? Otherwise. stay with your parents, and see a good personal counsellor, which, after your suicide attempt, you need and deserve, anyway
