MIGRAINE SUFFERER PLEASE HELP
HI THER, I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP.MY HUSBAND SUFFERES FROM BAD MIGRAINES, WHICH AT FIRST WAS THOUGHT TO BE TRIGGERED BY CERTAIN FOODS, BUT NOW I DONT KNOW ANYMORE, HE IS A VERY TENSE PERSON, AND HAS MOMENTS WHER HE CAN LOOSE HIS TEMPER SO BADLY, HE LOSES CONTROL, AND THEN ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER HIS TEMPER LOSS, HE GETS A MIGRAIN, ITS ALMOST AS IF IT ALL BUILDS UP. IS THEIR ANY ADVICE, AS I CAN NOT AFFORD A NEURO DOCTOR, AND HAVE NO MEDICAL AID. I AM WORRIED THEIR MAY ACTUALLY BE SOMETHING MORE WRONG.
ARE THEIR ANY WAYS TO CHECK AT HOME, AND IF THEIR IS ANY SUSPECTED PROBLEM, I CAN THEN BE SURE TO TAKE HIM TO A DOC.

SO do I. Suffer from bad migraines, that is. There are many different potential triggers for such attakcs. Some people do seem to be sensitive to some foods --- for me some wines will do it. And also relaxation does it --- I handle pressure quite well, but like some other migraineurs, if I even totally relax, an attack is almost certain. There are some modern meds which help to relieve and prevent migraine attacks, though they can be rather expensive. An approach of him learning to relax when he needs to may help, also.
