Problem with my brain
Hi Doc

In 2001 I had a car accident, stopped from 120 to 0 in 4 meters.
Had a brain scan, they could not say if I had blood on the brain or not.

Today 4 years later, I misinterpret conversations/feels, and I struggle with Han-eye coordination. My Golf handicap had gone from 18 to 24, depite lots of practise. I decided to take up dancing, but strugle my butt off. Please help/advise me ? what can I do to improve myself. I have also started reading de Bono books

please please help, I am frustrated

I had a similar experience in 2005 ! If there has been a significant brain haemorrhage it would probably have shown on the scan. But concussion alone can cause problems, as I hav found --- for instance my memory, and spelling abilities are changed, and I am more irritable than before. What might help would be a careful assessment by a good local Neurologist, maybe with additional neuropsychological testing by a psychologist he recommends, to check for whether there is a picture of any particular type of damage, and then advise on how best to respond to it.
And Dude is right, that there is some evidence that playign computer games can improve hand-eye coordination, and they generally provide for one to proceed gradually through different levels, from easier to harder.
