Relationship with STD

I was diagnosed with genital Herpes 3 years ago. Although I have never experienced any symptoms, I still feel dirty, rejected and lonely. I would like to start a relationship with a great guy I've met but how? How do I tell him? When do I tell him? I don't want to be rejected again as the guy who gave it to me said that I couldn't have gotten it from him and he dumped me.

Please help?

OK, you were treated horribly badly by the guy who gave you this infection. Rotten guy, and good riddance to him. Now, i f you have never experienced any symptoms, how sure can you be that there is an infection at all ? Why not see a good local gynae for a full checkup and check on this. You may be entirely OK. IF there is a mild infection, ask the gynae for advice on infectivity and what to tell a bf. And consider seeing a counsellir for a few sessions to get rid of this awfully bad self-image which you seem to have formed
